These are just plain opinions; they can be rejected, refuted, argued against or accepted. These words are not meant to impose my ideals upon anybody , and they are not going against the law of the diversity of thoughts~~

What is it that you fear, my friend? Is it the  eight legged creature which crawl the night in silence? Or is it those foul creatures which hide in the cupboards of imaginative kids and under our beds, my friend? It is not wrong to fear. Never wrong; it is one of the basic feelings of a human being; even the bravest of men have a fear of something in particular; bossy wives, perhaps. Whilst true believers fear nothing but Allah, we commoners sure fear a lot of things.

Fear is subjective , and there are various kinds of fear, my friend. A phobia is  a persistent fear of an object or situation in which the sufferer commits to great lengths in avoiding. Paranoia  is a thought process believed to be heavily influenced by anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and delusion. Paranoid thinking typically includes persecutory beliefs, or beliefs of conspiracy concerning a perceived threat towards oneself.

I believe that our society lives in a paranoia. My friend, there is really nothing wrong to be afraid of something , but to a limited extent. A good example is the belief that non-muslims have the obligation and tendency to put pig essence in every food that we eat, every beverage that we drink, and every single product we consume. There goes tales that say that food with conditioners labelled E***  got some serious pig liver in it. That chocolate with the red mark is made from pig skin. Coffee beans got some pigs; really? Coffee beans? Really? Even dairy milk is contained with pig faeces and bone shards. People everywhere are anxious and restless. Is it essential that one must be careful with what he consumes, but he should be afraid of something real. Something that exists. If my favourite drink really have pig essence in it, as so said the religious authority and the panel of investigation, then consumption should stop. But all these are mostly slanders of the social media, without any proof, just a picture with some labels ,and we are bound to  trust that without question.

Didn't it ever come to you that such slanders are just dirty marketing strategies to eliminate competition? Like the widespread SMS that said that Munchy's biscuits are made with a mixture of liquor and alcohol, and the manager is a real evil guy? Seriously?

To add to the monstrosity of such ridicule, is the recent accusations that the cartoon series Upin dan Ipin is a Freemason conspiracy. The word Upin means " I hate the prophet". Ipin means " I like Israel". "U" on the kid's shirt is a symbol for USA, and "I" stands for Israel. Now, Upin dan Ipin is a Freemason conspiracy? Really? Whoever believes such nonsense should die , for their supreme bigotry and the capability to create stories out of thin air.

Paranoid, we are, more than anything.

We are most paranoid with Jews. Even the word itself triggers a negative reaction-like pronouncing the name Voldemort. It is true that the Protocols of Zion exists, and there are tremendous measures against us,but,  there are good Jews, I say, and the Quran approves of this, my friend. There are those who fought against the occupation of Baitul Maqdis, who stand against the policies of the illegal country, Israel. And they do exist, my friend. Only those who are aggresive, those slayers of innocent children and terrorists should be condemned, fought and  exterminated from this planet  , for good riddance.

"They are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer]."(Ali-Imran, 113)

But enough chitchat, my friend, our paranoia is used against us. The words Jews and Zionists are used in every slander that the national media produces, because they know how much we are afraid of it , and how much we despise them. Bersih is a Zionist propaganda, they said. The programs held by the opposition is sponsored by the Jews, they said. Anwar is a zionist agent, they said. He is a friend of filthy Jews and killers alike, they said. What the hell, I say.

"O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful." (Al-Hujurat; 6)

My  friend, there is nothing wrong to be afraid, and to be careful. It is a must that one be careful with such things, but too much of anything is always not something good, or so said a friend of mine. Paranoid, we are really.

It is not wrong to be afraid, but at least put the fear in something real. Something worth fearing. Slanders about pig essence in food is baseless, without any proof, and we have no reason to fear. We have to learn to fear that our daughters in schools get pregnant , and there are thousands of babies without a father. This is real , my friend, and something we must be afraid of.

We have to learn to fear that the government rejects the application of Islamic laws, and all of us voters will be questioned for choices we made that led to this.

We have  to fear that our masjid are being deserted by young men and women alike.

We need to fear that our children wear nothing but skimpy clothes they saw in magazines and the internet.

Because we will be questioned about things that we fear and care most not  to ruin, and our priorities, my friend. Even for us to fear something, there are priorities we have to obey. Should burglars enter a house one night and threaten the residing family for money, the father should fear more of the safety of his family, more than he fears the armed burglars themselves, more than he fears the loss of his fortune.

Priority, my friend, is vital.

Fear not, my friend, for Allah is always there for us.

"They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress."
[ Allah ] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see."
( Taha; 35-36)

What is it that drives us to wake up tomorrow? What is so interesting that you would leave the comfort of the bed, the warmth that envelops you ? I wonder about this one force that murders the sloth in you, making you energetic  and alive.

There got to be something, really. You see, snails move themselves in the morning in pursuit of fresh green leaves . Snails have wives and kids to feed too, I swear. Good farmers, I say, need to wake up in the first lights of the dawn, to get rid of those snails before the vegetables are damaged. It's a race  ,really, this life.

Even snails have reasons to get going. I bet the same thing for ants, chickens and toads.

But we are no freaking animals, my friend; we put reason in every single work we do-the cost, utility, schedule and quantity, and what is the reason for our mere existence?

Some of us cannot answer that question in particular- and decided that his life is a pursuit of happiness. Happiness , here, is defined as material.  If this is the only life ,then one must make hay while the sun shines - and in order to do so one needs money-said Mr Imran Khan. Easy, ain't it? You don't know what to do with life, so what else to do, rather than have fun with it?

And so begins our pursuit for material. Wealth, as they call it. I'm 19 and I am thinking about how much money will I make when I'm 30 with four kids. I feel seriously guilty. This feels so wrong. How did the trinkets of the world fool me and take me away? My, guilty pleasures, they are. I am 19, and I was thinking about a big house with swimming pools, fancy cars and immeasurable wealth. It feels so good, really, your guts jump with your imaginations. There's a stream of crystal clear water running around the house compound. Trees in the garden blossom in a rainbow of red and yellow, while the children run from end to end in laughter.

As if you'll live forever.

Of course the thought is a pleasure, of course.

The house smells of fresh baked bread , new parchment, and lavender. Flowers colour the tapestry, and pictures of a happy family hung all over.

No. This is so wrong.

         So wrong.

Our age is short , my friend, there is no point denying that. The pleasures of owning a supercar is supershort, adding to the fact that the amount of time taken during the rides will be superlittle. The scrumptious feeling of hot cheese and sprinkled chilly last for a few seconds while they reside on the tongue, then it is gone. Gone , my friend, forever. Material beclouded our minds and led us astray from the way we should be.

Being so rich does not make you happy. Michael Jackson, with money so much, but so unhappy he switched his colours. Off. A big chunk of the Men of the West who have so much wealth are accustomed to seeing psychiatrists .  Sweden and Switzerland, who provide the most welfare to their citizens, also have the highest suicide rates.

Money gives so much utility to a person that one does not stop seeking for it. I do not agree, my friend, with the law of equi-marginal utility, when it states that there will be a point of equilibrum, where men can be satisfied with a certain amount of goods he buy.  He will always want more.

There's no problem, really, if you are aiming to be a billionaire by the age of 30. I can be your partner if you like, that will be fun. The problem with the laws of utility is that it is so wrong. So self-centred, so selfish a system, so crooked, I don't know what to say. The snails I mentioned above shouldn't have destroyed all the crops for his utility and satisfaction. Pity the farmer, really. Then the snails will have another day to enjoy fresh green leaves. The farmer in the other hand shouldn't have started so early to get rid of the snails. The snails really have to feed their family, so why don't we let them for a little while?

"Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return"

"Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah . And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants -"
(Ali-Imran; 15)

The theory of maximum satisfaction brings to the overproduction of corn and potatoes and all kind of crops in Europe, there were mountains of barley and seas of beans. Meanwhile in Africa, there's none of those. The principles of materialism brings fortune to those who have money and influence, while those who are poor can die in masses. My, this is the law of the jungle, my friend. Survival of the fittest.

Let's say, I can indulge in my gigantic villa , while my neighbours can starve to death, to make it simple. Long live the system!

I thought about the muslims of old, when they were my age, what were they thinking about? Kids in Syria can die as martyrs, while I am stuck here thinking about my riches. This, is really unfair, because their share in the Hereafter will be so very big , compared to us all. It's only logic , ain't it? We get more in this world, we get less in the Hereafter? Yeah, I suppose. Unless you, my friend, are a really good man. And you really are.

A Letter to a Friend~

So long, my friend, we meet again, after such long days we endured. It is within my greatest regret that I should write such a peculiar letter; whilst knowing that any of us despise criticism and prefer appraisal over anything. But, my friend, considering that we do have a lot in common, I feel naught but to act in order to reduce the discrepancies over unresolved matters.

                My friend,
I acknowledge with fear the presence of an unyielding need of fun beneath our fragile selves. That mischievous creature is called lust , my friend, and it creeps deep in the veins and engulfs the mind with uncertainty. Lust, as we call it, tends to confuse us between right and wrong, it befuddles us with enthusiasm. Always, when our eyes see something as infinite pleasure, we cannot stop ourselves from conjuring it, we forget that  we have a bond and a contract with the Lord of the heavens and the earth.

This letter, I write with secrecy and peculiar literacy , my friend, so none can understand but you, and you alone.

We were brought up in the same atmosphere, my friend, the teachers know not but to care that we do not fall into the deeps of hell. Fragile, we were , as kids, but them adults knew better what they should tell us. Although I never met you before we have come to age, I know with certainty of how perfect was the education of yours; although probably in the early years. I've met the comrades of yours before I know you my friend; my, they are the best men I've ever met, they walk upon this earth like angels, they hold true to themselves and their identity.

Our teachers taught us with care, that we should stay away from forbidden acts; and you know what that is. The deeds of the Men of the West shall not be followed by any way possible, because they are not us, they despise our religion, and they go against it. We were guided with our prayers and our clean souls, that time when we were kids, far away from all this ridiculous stuff. It was written in the Protocols of Zion that man should fall to their lowest ebb, before they can be conquered and overpowered.

"And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper."( Al-Baqarah; 120)

          My friend,
There might be a time when the courage of Muslims fails, and the bonds between us break, but today is not that day. It is never too late to look back and repent ourselves, as Allah is always the most merciful. Oh to be young, and to feel the pleasurable pain of love. My friend, should you happen to like a woman, you go and ask her hand in marriage, and that will suit you best in the blessings of Allah. A gentleman like us does not choose to frolick with women we love in public , like the Men of the West. It is shameful that we happen to know that the act is wrong, yet we deny it  in our hearts and decided to go all YOLO over it. Damn, my friend, dafuq happened to you?

Gallant were the ways of the Men of the West. They  fancy dancing and a bucket of filthy ale. Their women dress in splendid glittering dresses which pronounces their protruding youth and arouses every eye that sees. They know not that such act is not allowed in our civilized society, so the blame should not be put upon their unknowing shoulders. It is us who know and acknowledge the fact in our daily lives. Our recitals and prayers should have taken care of us, but we strayed way this particular time. I tried to stay put to my principles, and you my friend, must follow me, because together we are strong, and together we cannot go astray.

"And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way."( Al-Isra' ; 32)

                    My friend,
It is utter  madness to say that we should follow the customs of  a country should we decide to travel there. If I happen to travel to Japan, my friend, it is not of necessity that I become a Japanese. I do not have to consume sake and dye my hair red. I am who I am, a proud muslim, although that lazy part needs some repairing. Some of us who would be learning with the Men of the West metamorphed into the non-believers themselves. They found that the act to frolick with a girl without the necessary bond of marriage is nothing to be feeling guilty of. Bourbons and vodkas are enjoyable, they said. What the hell, I said. Oh the might of true love, one might travel across mountains of ice and waddle through seas of fire. Wait..Will you? Will you go through a hell of fire for that short twinge of fun? Really? Is it really that exhilarating, my friend?

We will go old, wrinkled and probably fat and saggy. So will be our wives of old, ugly they will be, for the age of youth is short and temperamental. Let us not let our days be the days of regret and despair, but let us make it the days of peace , where will feel content of our youthful deeds. There are wars to fight, my friend, a nation we can help rebuilt, and a Deen that we must live with, with pride and honour. That, my friend, will not be done  with the acts of lovebirds.

                Dear friend,
Let us not let the trinkets of this world fool us and take us away. Life is nothing but a short getaway, where we recollect ourselves with as much deed as we can. I love you, my friend, as a comrade in battles that have yet to come, and because of that we must not fall.

There are promises we have made before, my friend,

Never forget,

never forget.

Friday, friday~

Today is Friday. A fine day , this is, glorious and merry. Merry , because this is Friday. Our  freaking Friday. This is a day that we gather together and pray ; hundreds of thousands strongmen huddled together in proximity. We are able to sit between people we never knew and never met before, every single week, without a football match at hand or a rock concert with deafening drums. Just to listen to a fiddle man with his enchanting words, to bedazzle us with his advice, so that our errands upon this world can run smooth.

That is the way it should be. That is the way it is. That is the way it was. Khutbah in the times of the prophet and sahabat was strong and true to the ears of the believers. Their words can speak  with the hearts of the people, able to make the hardest of men shed tears and provoke the most patient of men into great rage. Mere words, I say , are enough to start a revolution. Public speeches of Sukarno made him able to gain the popularity and trust of millions of people. Obama and his promises of "change" made him president of the United States. Words are sharper than swords, if one knows how to use them; because their aim is the heart, and they do not miss.

If our khutbah succeeds to make half of the congregation fall into deep sleep; then what use is the speech, other than to fulfill an obligation? Allah loves when a servant does his deeds with diligence and spirits; a man reading a poorly written text clearly does not suffice.

The strength of a speaker-as my father quotes- depends upon the audience. If one is able to produce good words, but none can listen to him, then he is no speaker . A good speaker is the one who can make people aroused to listen to him, not exactly in excitement, but most probably-yeah. The Friday khutbah should not be made as a mere routine. It is a public speech of great import-I say, in this times where we use words almost more than guns and swords.

The nation is so proud with numerous public speaking competitions , debate  tournaments and forums . There are championships here and there, with various hosts and events; all gallant and glorious. Young speakers that I've met, can beat the shit out of the current ministers and government officials should they decide to go to war with words-good gracious, this is indeed true. Talent among young people is numerous and supremely varied. These young men can charm others just with their smiles and their pose on the stage-like a boss. However when it comes to the precious khutbah, there are only losers who cannot even read the text well.

My , this is so wrong. Khatibs in masjids that I've been to don't even make eye contact with the congregation. The speech is always monotonous ; sombre with warnings that don't even sound like one. The issues  were sometimes interesting; and at times; boring to death. It was like reading nursery rhymes to sleepy children , that is most succesful ; as men fall under deep slumber in the heat of the day.

The result of this phenomenon should be made clear and known to all-we come and go to the masjid, without any change of heart or tears in our eyes. There are indeed good men who give wonderful khutbahs which win the hearts of the men, but they are not many. In general; they all suck. The end.

Talent among young men should be utilized and used for the ummah-and this , I say is the efficient allocation of resources. It doesn't matter if the good speakers are now bankers or engineers or policemen; they should be made Imam and Khatib-rotations can be made if they are indeed terribly busy with this short life. Imams in the past were not singularly Imam, they were businessmen, labourers and even scientists. Should this happen, I would run to the mosque with enthusiasm every freaking Friday afternoon.

Among the reason young people are reluctant to go to the masjid these days is because it is simply boring, with constant threat of death and that we are all going to hell . Nabi Muhammad , peace be upon him, is a messenger that brings the threat and warnings, but he also brings with him promises of Jannah, he brings peace to the world and happiness among the believers. Constant warning is a must, because we all forget our promises, but not necessarily  at all times. The masjid is the place we gather and show our love to each other as muslims, to show that we care and that we , are indeed strong.

The world is coming to an end.   Crisis and wars engulf this planet like a stack of hay set on fire. And they spread really fast. Economic tension all around the world forces leaders of nations to succumb to extreme measures to prevent downfall. This adds to the atmosphere of unease and   displeasure, and it can be seen that the prospect of the solution is not bright.

How many earthquakes had happened this month alone? How  many are hurricanes now compared to a century ago? The world is a terribly old being, and it is designated to reach an end, like all living creatures upon this planet. The signs are now all clear, the true prophecies that our beloved prophet delivered, true to the eyes of the believers, and those who understand. Let's drop all pretences and agree, that this is really happening.  The end can happen any moment from now, as all the small signs had occurred.

That's why we need to get married. As I fear the turbulences and tribulations of this fragile planet, I saw it with crystal clarity that I do not want to die alone. The future of going to war and die in an explosion seems near enough, and thus I  need to learn and experience the various flavors of this life     so that when the time for retribution comes, I will be ready. No shit, I'm  kidding.

The social structure in this nation is an unsuitable niche for us youngsters to live. There is indeed too much fun to behold, with the internet as the biggest holder of crap, and  extreme ecstasy for those who seeks for it. Let's just say that there are two parts of fun; the right fun and the wrong fun. The concept is too simple if we take some time and think about it . We muslims are forbidden from the wrong fun, as they are obviously wrong-does this definition of fun needs further clarification? I don't think so.  If  we instead  choose to do it the right fun way, why should anyone disagree?

"And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought."(Ar-Rum, 21)

Should parents disagree with the act of lovebirds and ridiculous puppy love, the road towards marriage should be open and be made easy.  It is not wise for the road department to shut down the two ends of a horizontal road and force drivers to go somewhere. The drivers cannot use side-along apparition as they are obviously Muggles. They are stuck in an infinite loop in the endless road , and this causes much despair and disruptions upon the limited mental capacity.

This is the problem in our country; the social disability and inept communication among people. While men in other countries run from headshots and grenades, we are stuck with endless fun. What disaster is fun?  I don't know.

Support the good and say  no to the bad. What is wrong with you people that you cannot understand? Makers  of the wrong decisions are named for the responsibility  should any dire consequences tend  to happen, because they fail to understand that  we must support the good and say no to the bad.

Sorry for overcomplicating things; this is written so that you people can suffer in a vortex of confusion.

"And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing." (Annur; 32)

Why so early, and why so young? Desperate enough, eh? There are some old people who still act like children. Age is not an accurate measure for wisdom and credibility, or so I thought. I agree that should I want something I would produce every sort of argument for my benefit, but I stayed put to my principles. Those who disagree should say something mentally intelligible instead of continuous yappering of disagreements without reasons.

The controversial question of why - do- you- want- to- get- married should be answered with another question; why would anyone at any age get married? It is one of the basic phase of living, and you asked why? Blimey!

"And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Indeed, their killing is ever a
great sin. And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way."(Al-Isra' , 31-32)

The blame for the various social failures; babies thrown into dumpsters and runaway teeenagers are to  be put upon everyone's shoulders. The government, for one is the biggest sinner  as  they disagreed  to the implimentation of Islamic laws that serve as a method of prevention. Parents who 'sell' their daughters according to the beloved child's certificate and looks should be sentenced to twelve years in prison and hard work. I agree that good things have a hefty bill to pay for, but please ,be considerate.
