Why on earth are you here??

I was flipping through a book when suddenly I felt that everything I do is useless. I don't see if I have a real objective to read economics, nor doing homeworks, nor doing anything, at all. That awkward moment when you feel " Am I studying? Why on earth do I need to study?" , it really sucks. If I ask my roommate, his answer will be, " Dude, it's A-Levels! Don't ever dream of studying overseas if you don't study".That will be your answer, too, and probably the teachers, to be straight.  The truth is, I won't be satisfied with your answer. I want an exact reason on why do we need to study!

That question of the needs to study grows into branches and leaves and fruits, until this boggled mind nearly explode. Why do I have to run during house runs? I don't want to do so. Haha. What's the need to be intelligent, to enter a decent  university, then to get a good job, then? You will say, we need to study, so we can enter a good university. That awesome university ensures you a great degree, and that degree promises a good job. A good job, perhaps, brings good fortune, wealth of an unthinkable amount. Then, where does this cycle goes? Does it cease, just like that? If I die, perhaps, later, what's my main purpose to exist? Why??

I would like to ask Luke Skywalker then , if I ,actually have an intergalactic mission to embark with, so that my existence on this small planet, will be significant, but he's just a fiction . I saw then, not everybody becomes like Obama, or a superhero, perhaps, and so it is with me. The reasons of my sole existence becomes unclear and patheticly unknown.

If , you die, what is the significance of your Cambridge degree and your high income? Heck, you just leave it like that, you're such a waste to the society and burden to the world as a whole. Perhaps, you can paste that degree on your memoratorium. I'm dead, but I went to Cambridge! Roar! Does that means anything? Nope. You're already dead.

So I continued thinking, opting not to do my works as it looked to be useless to do any. Perhaps ,I'm just a part of a biological cycle. I was born to be fertilizers. To live with pride, then die to help plants grow, later on I'll be fossil fuels, then I'll be used as petrol in cars, combusted as black fumes, then fuses with the air, creates acid rain, fall to earth, then...No!! Uhh.. what a sad, sad life to live. Then, what differs me from cats, dogs and ducks? Main reason to exist; Breed and Die.  No way, because I'm a damned important guy, ya know, I can't just be fertilizers!

I checked on every kinds of books, ranging from economics to theoretical physics, to answer that question; the reason of my existence. History books; perhaps, I could be a main character in the fall of Soviet Union, in the past. The textbooks explains everything, to a very complicated degree, but none answer that typical question. Heck, I'm really an insignificant being in this vast universe. There's really no reason to do homework.

One day ,I found the ultimate answer for that ultimate question . It was simple. ~I'm a creation. Allah created me, a human being to submit to Him. I need to learn, so that I know   what is wrong and what is right, as religion taught me so. I need to enter a decent university, so I can work, to be a decent man. A decent man cares for everyone, he does good to everyone. I need education so I'll be a man of great attitudes. I need to be rich -yeah- so that I can donate to the poor , and me, myself can be happy. And when I die, I will not be acid rain, but I'll enter another universe, the Judgement  Day, when I will meet Allah, be judged for all of my  deeds, rights and wrongs . Then we ,humans will be judged, either to be condemned to hell, or to  the pleasures of heaven, forever.

Suddenly I know that  I'm not just an insignicant being, but I do have an important mission on earth.  I'll be returned to Allah, the Sole Creator, the Al-Khaliq. I do have an objective. A life with an objective is forever better than a fertilizer-based life. I found this answer in a book named , the Quran.

Now I do have a reason to do my homeworks. It still feel useless though, hah. Peace
Allahu Akhbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akhbar, Allahu Akhbar wa lillahil-hamd.
"Allah is the greatest, there is no God but Allah, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, all praise belongs to Allah."
Today marks a great celebration of Eidul Adha in Islam. See, muslims all around the world unite in a uniform celebration, and  today is definitely a great joy for all of us. 3 milllion Muslims are now gathering in Mecca, the Holy Land of Islam. All over the world, of all colours, regions and cultures, we are all celebrating.

"And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways"
(Quran, 22;27)

Yes, 3 million. Imagine, 3 million people moving in an exact symphony.  3 million people following a single Imam, praying together in the congregation. Those 3 millions are  from all kinds of places, all eager and spirited. How did it happen-with all those colours, no racial slurs are heard, they all wear the same clothes-all white-whether they're kings, queens or beggars? They sit together, side by side, like friends, when one might be from Hawaii, and the other from Japan.  How on earth, that this happened? The West had been trying to curb racism since the brink of time, and Muslims succeed to do so-without an effort.

"O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted."
(Quran , 49;13)

Quite puzzling though, how it happened. We are all believers-not beliebers,seriously-, of this religion , which stopped half of the world from drinking alcohol. Arabs before Islam are the heaviest drinkers of liquor on earth, and when Islam came, they ceased without resistance. Heck, how could it be that way, when Americans failed to ban alcohol, even with their epic laws and superb strategies?

Do I have an answer for that? Sure.

Islam is the ultimate guide towards righteousness. It doesn't matter how do you define 'righteousness' , because the law of nature states that humans do have the same stand, on what is good. "Addeen Annasihah" . Or in simpler terms, Islam guides humans   to be good. Yeah, that's it. Peace.

Homosexual Rights~

Can you imagine yourself having a happy family ; a wife, a daughter and a son? You nurture your children  with love , patience and perseverance. That, requires a lot of money, time , and space. It requires all of kind of techniques, ways and strategies to take care of a baby, and it gets harder when that toddler grows up into a boy, then into  a teenager, and then he becomes an adult. The process is not as simple as the stages are, just four stages, then that's it, isn't it? No , it isn't . There is parts of it which involves an infinity of problems, ranging from the health of the child, education ,etcetra, which form a nearly endless list. This is because you   are educating children of humans, not cows.
Then, can you imagine, if that little son of yours, suddenly becomes a gay? Or that beloved girl, turns to be a lesbian? Where goes all the values that this superb parent taught? Life sucks~
It is not a matter of having the rights, to choose your orientation, but it is whether that choice can be made or not. Whether that choice is right or wrong. If you chose the wrong one, then be ready to be condemned to hell, as you HAVE choices, but you chose it wrong. Too complicated, isn't it?
You will ask , why can't you accept people being different? You will say, God created humans, some are LGBT, they don't have a choice, so give them their rights. My first answer will be, religion told us that homosexuals , lesbians and transsexuals are condemned, sinful people. Otherwise the people of Sodom won't be demolished. It doesn't matter whether they are musicians, ministers or social workers, all of them were destroyed, and it proves  that such orientation is not accepted. That's religion. Aren't you a Muslim? Surely you won't accept that, and I'll be labelled an Islamist, extremist, fundamentalist, intolerant, and perhaps a terrorist. Life realy sucks~
To begin with, i think that this writer himself has a severely corrupted way of thinking. It does look like, he doesn't even read the history of our religion, Islam. It is clearly something that our religion is against, as we can see in the story of Prophet Lut alaihissalam. God created human to be paired as male and female. Not male-male or female-female. This is the nature law. (fitrah)

Taking an example, Elton John. He got married with a male. However, he did'nt get a child. But still, the desire to have a child is always present. It is terribly funny to claim of having a child with a male partner, when he has to actually give his sperm to a surrogate mother , in order to get a baby. The nature law is present in everyone, it can't be denied, ever.

The writer said that, he and his gay behaviour will not harm people. seriously? Doesn't he know that these kind of people are the ones causing AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD)? Till now, we couldn't find any cure for AIDS. Those who are not involved in their shameful acts are also infected by these disease. Again, seriously?

Considering human rights, if that 'right' of yours  is something wrong, then should it be considered, at all? If, I rob a bank, then I said it is my right to rob a bank. It is my own business, so mind yours, can't you let people be themselves and do what they wanna do? Surely I'll be jailed for robbing, regardless of my claims. You should consider, whether having rights to be homos and les~ really doesn't have externalities. You said that it is your right, your choice, but what if that choice affects me , and others? Me, too, have my own rights, isn't it? My right is to live in a life where negative  attracts positive,  a husband loves his wife, and my roommate doesn't flirt with me.
What about God's rights, then? This is a world He made, and humans are free to choose and decide for their life, but you still have to follow his LAW. Considering 'rights' again, if , you made that wrong choice , aren't you violating Allah's right?
Then you will say, that those LGBT are also kind people. They pay taxes, they do charity, they're productive and honest people. Take example of Elton John, or Bradley Manning of  the USA.Then give them their rights , and stop discriminating them. Wait a minute, we Muslims never reject those kindness and valour, please, understand that. You are always welcomed to be good people. It is that orientation , that choice which is wrong. Fix that, and you'll be part of our indiscriminated world. We can't support those LGBTs because they come with a package; thay aren't just good people, they are good people, and homosexuals. This inseparatable character made Muslims persistent on opposing them . YOU left us with no choice . But ,if, you are thinking of becoming 'normal', then our hands and hearts are always open and welcoming.
You will say that you don't have a choice. Bullshit. You do have a choice . Peace .

What differs Muslims from others?

              What differs Muslims from others?

If we look to ourselves and compare, I don't think there's much difference to it. Unless you are a good Muslim living amidst alcoholics, bullies and mafia, then there is a huge difference between you and them~the  non -muslims. But nowadays, as we thrive among academicians, intelligent people around us, there's not much that we can tell. If you have a good attitude, then they do have that. They too, appreciate time, they respect parents, teachers and friends. They are respectful people of high spirits. Then, what differs Muslims from others?

You might ask, why do we need to be different? Shouldn't we be equal in these days of 'total equality'? The answer is simple; if being a Muslim is the same like all other religion, then what is the function of Islam? It is a difference of what we believe and what we trust, on complete undeniable facts, and trust me, being different is good.
What differs us is our prayers. Rasulullah p.b.u.h tells us that what differs a muslim  and a non-muslim  is his prayers. He prays, then that is the ultimate characteristic of a Muslim , which exclude him from non-believers. Solat is the first question asked by Allah to humans on the day of Judgement.   The prophet himself emphasised the importance of solat  upon Muslimeen, it is of grave importance that we take great measures to be consistent with our solat
.
[Quran 29:45] Recite (O Prophet Muhammad) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Quran), and perform As-Salat (5 times prayer). Verily, As-Salat prevents from Al-Fahsha' (great sins)and Al-Munkar (disbelief) and the remembering of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed. And Allah knows what you do.

How does our prayer differs us from others? It shows that our life has its main objective; submission to Allah. Life , as it is, is not just to be born, then we grow up. Then we learn, we get jobs, we get married, we have children, later on we get old, sick and die. What is the purpose of such a life? We don't bring together our fortune after our deaths, we leave it without a choice. IF, a life is free, without submission, then nothing differs us from animals, a life without a purpose. Then we are just a part of a biological cycle, insignificant and useless!
We are creations of al-Khaliq, the greatest Creator, the only God. As creations we should submit ourselves to Allah, through our prayers, or our life is useless.

Quran(20;132)
Instruct your family to pray and to be steadfast in their worship. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness.

As a Muslim we must be Muslims. That is through our prayers, if we don't , then nothing differentiates us from the non-believers. It doesn't matter whether you are a genius, a billionaire, or a beggar. If you don't pray, then what hopes do you have infront of Allah during the al-Qiamat?
Being different is nothing, it is not important among humans. But, IF that difference brings you happiness to the Hereafter, isn't being different is the best? Peace.

What is hudud, and what is all about it?

What is hudud, and what is all about it?
(you asked for this)

It is not about cutting others’ hands. It is not a form of permitted killing spree of the innocent. It is not an ancient, cruel law. Hudud is a law, as we Muslims believe and acknowledge, made by God himself.
Stop laughing, there’s nothing funny about that. Our religion is a guidance. It is a tool of submission to Allah. We learnt that a free market requires government intervention because there is market failure, and so it is with the complex human life. We , all of us, you and me believe in ethics, social norms and attitudes in a ‘free’ life. That’s the basics of an utopian human life, and it sounds perfect. But still, that life fails, like market failures. There are externalities, when adults have free sex, then suddenly innocent children contact HIV. Too many cases of robbery, rapes, children without fathers, cheating spouses, which proves that life sucks. So what is the form of ‘intervention’ that we need? Probably not subsidy and taxes.
Our religion brings solution to these problems. This is based on faiths, and facts, yeah, proof on real life. This law is not just pure theories like legalism , or the Common Law of the Britons, but hudud is proven to be effective as a solution to certain problems of the society.
Saudi Arabia is a country that implement hudud. Look at these sites and compare, the statistics of crime in Arabia and other countries. Believe in what you see.
http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_rap-crime-rapes
http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_bur-crime-burglaries
We had been mocked by the media, by the politicians, about hudud, as a tribal, over-conservative laws of cruelty. Wait a minute, that’s total bullshit. This law provide justice and moral to others, as a form of solution. Nobody has to be afraid of the law if he/she did nothing. If you didn’t steal, then what is the basis of being afraid that everyone’s hands being cut? Unless you did.
God made us, so God knows what’s best for us. Or do we now more than God?
Hudud is just a fraction of the whole system. There is Ta’zir, laws decided by humans for crimes, which the punishment is not mentioned in the Quran and Hadith, such as bribery, drugs and stuff. Hudud is to curb theft ,highway robbery ,illegal sexual intercourse ,false accusation of zina' and drinking alcohol . The punishments are capital punishments - by sword/crucifixion (for highway robbery with homicide), by stoning (for zina' when the offenders are mature, married Muslims) Amputation of hands (for theft and highway robbery without homicide) Flogging with a varying number of strokes (for drinking, zina' when the offenders are unmarried or not Muslims, and false accusations of zina') .
I don’t think I should explain why the crimes above are considered crimes in Islam. The consequences are grave enough.
These punishments are made infront of the public. It is justice for the victims, punishment for the convicted, and morale for the people. It is not to make people afraid, it teaches people to differentiate what is wrong and what is right. Then, if no one ever dared to do such crimes , would those punishments ever occur? A law which educates the people is probably better than laws that pamper prisoners with great jail and food. This is simple logics. Peace.

I am not a desocializer~

I am not a desocializer, I just have nothing to say. And I dont know what to say, furthermore I don't know anything worth saying. So don't look at me with those judging eyes, be tolerant and understanding. We muslims never do talk to much without reasons. We never laugh, like bitches, over pointless subjects ,and we choose silence as a better option.

I know you regard us muslims as elusive and desocializers. Yeah, we don't talk 'that' much, we never laugh too loud. We don't go to your parties, and we don't sit with you for dinner. We never touched the girls' fingers, nor their hair,  and never did we allow your girls ,upon touching. And worse, we never shake their hands. We seemed to be so rude and racist, non-liberal and ancient. So conservative, that you people found us as deserted people from strange lands.

Don't take us as strangers, aliens from outer space. Religion told us to be diligent, prominent and productive, and at    the same time, to take complete care of our interactions with people. This is not a non-liberal-overconservative  act , but, it is a choice we made, liberally. IF we chose not to follow your lifestyle, should we be regarded as Talibans? You said that this is a free life with free options, can't we choose ours? You saw us walking together to the surau with our attire, you saw us as a weird group of nerds, doing  useless things, while you sit with your girlfriend making a public display of affection.

We dont  do those things because God said so. Fullstop, isn't it, but you won't be satisfied. Instead you started asking me, does God really exist? Dude, go to hell~
You wanted pure logics, isn't it? We don't shake hands with girls, we never touch 'em, because we regard woman as highly honored human beings. They aren't subjects in your porn fantasies,  not girlfriends that you pick and dump, but they are our mothers , our sisters and our daughters. We took a stand that they must be treated with care, honored with marriages, and treated fairly, not as dolls for display.
We refused to go to your parties because that isn't  a way for us to celebrate things. Yeah, we do have parties, but all hairs and legs are covered, there's no jumpings like monkeys, no touchings , and  of course the girls' and boys' sections are separated. We celebrate victory, not hedonism.
We talked less, and we seldom laugh, because there isn't a need for it. You laughed over everything, but, are you REALLY happy? Do you, yourself find it hilarious? I'm delighted to know.Forgive us for talking less and producing more.
The world has too much free sex, too much porn, too many single mothers, too many diseases, and too little happiness. Our religion told us  to respect women, to avoid useless things, and never waste time. We believe , that is the solution for the problems above, so allow us to live, our way. Do you have a better way? Be open to tell and elaborate that.
These are just simple logics, I do have more, but these are enough. This is our pledge to you, for you to consider, because you too, are a MUSLIM, just like us. Peace.
